Aside from producing hit TV shows, it's safe to say that Ryan Murphy's another strong suit is juggling multiple series at his fingertips. The prolific showrunner behind TV series like "American Horror Story," "American Crime Story," "Scream Queens" and "Feud" is producing yet another show for NBC Universal, and it will evolve around the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle.
As of press time, little is known about the new Ryan Murphy-produced series. Details are scarce, but the upcoming series will reportedly be titled "The Triangle," as a scoop from Season Zero reports. A glimpse of its plot line has also been slightly revealed.
The new series tells about the infamous Bermuda Triangle and a former couple, Wes Fallon and Marti Estevez. Together, the estranged lovers will try to unearth the mysteries surrounding the Devil's Triangle under the guidance of the U.S. government.
Each of the former lovers has personal reasons to investigate the Bermuda Triangle mystery. Wes is looking for his brother as he vanished within the sinister region while Marti's current husband, Tom Fallon, has also gone missing in Bermuda Triangle. As they unfold the secrets concerning the feared part of the Northern Atlantic Ocean, Wes and Marti's romance will be revisited--or will it be rekindled, too, in "The Triangle?"
The Bermuda Triangle has been plagued by conspiracy theories for over centuries. Bordered by three points--Florida, Bermuda and Puerto Rico--the Bermuda Triangle is long considered an unsurpassable area if anyone wishes to remain alive. Sea and air farers have eerily vanished out of thin air upon traversing the Devil Triangle, as Live Science notes.
Apart from Ryan Murphy, other creative producers such as Brooke Kennedy ("Fringe," "Braindead," "The Good Wife") and Andrew Stearn ("Animal Kingdom," "Gypsy," "Shameless US"). Ryan Murphy also pens "The Triangle" with "Desire" writer, Guy Busick.
