Young People With Autism Create Hit Films Through A Vocational School And Animation Studio In California

Roughly one in 68 children is diagnosed with autism according to statistics. When these kids grow, where do they go and what do they do?

Patrick Brady, 26, is already an expert in animation as his IMDb page read as excellent as that a Hollywood veteran. He had worked with big time teams like the hit-makers from "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes," "American Hustle," "X-Men: Apocalypse," and "Captain America: Civil War."

Brady is one of the greatest artists who reside in "Exceptional Minds (EM)." Most of the people with autism who have great thoughts that can design animations that seem astronomically excellent.

EM is located in Sherman Oaks, California. It is the only vocational school and animation studio allowing autism spectrum disorder an enormous chance to learn animation and visual effects. Such precious talents often utilized in big-budget Hollywood films.

Some of the tasks handled by the artists in Exceptional Minds involve rotoscoping, 2D animation, green screen work, and camera stabilization. Susan Zwerman, EM's executive producer, The school helps a segment of the population struggling to produce work that reaches full potential, says Susan Zwerman, EM's executive producer in an interview with Business Insider. The type of work that Exceptional Minds provide is suitable for someone with autism, she said.

As CDC presents in statistics that almost two percent of kids have autism spectrum disorder, companies lie EM should multiply. This way, there will be more residences for brilliant minds. Teens with autism have a lot to contribute to this enterprise.

EM school started in 2009 as a non-profit organization with only nine students. It has opened an in-house studio of its own to supplement the school in 2015. Nonetheless, like any other organization, EM also faces limited funding as they are often forced to give up two out of three applicants.

Many still hope that the progress goes higher for EM. Every exceptional mind that produced in this school can make brilliant films and other projects.
