A month after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced that their marriage is doomed, new rumors spark that the "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" star is dating his kids' nanny. However, the actor's rep is quick to clear that the report is not true.
On Wednesday, Us Weekly stirred the public after reporting that Affleck, 42, has been dating Christine Ouzounian, 28, the nanny that the ex-couple hired for their three kids. The report goes that Affleck "didn't have to look far to find a new romance."
The same report disclosed that Ouzonian was hired to look after the kids during the times when Garner and Affleck were in the midst of a secret 10-month trial separation. Eventually, Ben and Christine developed an attraction towards each other. According to a friend of Ouzonian, they even hang out without the kids.
When Garner learned about the affair, she fired Ouzounian, but the nanny was never really out of Affleck's life. The two were in constant contact via text and email. In fact, on July 17, they reportedly spent time together at Affleck's new L.A. rental.
"She says Ben really, really likes her. She's saying this is true love," a friend of Ouzonian disclosed.
However, Affleck's party denies the report. In response to the rumor, Affleck's rep said, "The story is complete garbage and full of lies." Affleck was not at all happy with the news linking him to his children's nanny. The rep continued, "It's shameful. We are considering legal options," according to PEOPLE.
The "Town" actor strongly denied the allegation of infidelity, although earlier reports suggest that he admitted to Garner that he had not been committed to their marriage in the past few years. His infidelity, gambling, drinking and other troubling behavior were among the issues why the couple decided to have separate lives, although they remain friends and still take the time to be together for their children.
In fact, according to Mail Online, Affleck has made several trips to Atlanta, Ga., where Garner and the kids are staying while she films her new drama movie, "Miracles from Heaven." The report claims that the actor will be staying in the same area for most of the summer as planned, and the father of three is happy to be with his family.
The ex-couple are in no hurry to divide their assets, and, perhaps, not in a hurry to take their separate lives because after almost a month since they officially announced their split-up, Garner and Affleck are still wearing their wedding rings. However, a source tells PEOPLE that the ex-couple just do it to help their children cope with the divorce.
