"Dance Moms" Season 7 cancellation news reveals that the Lifetime reality series may soon get the axe from the network. As most fans can recall, the show has seen one of the biggest changes after Maddie Ziegler, who is considered as the lead dancer of ALDC, left the series.
Since then, "Dance Moms" Season 6 experienced a drop in ratings and more of its original cast members are rumored to be leaving the show. It also seems like the show will be losing its host, Abby Lee Miller.
As Yahoo! TV reports, Miller is facing charges on 20 counts of fraud, which means that she will be facing years in prison. The "Dance Moms" Season 6 host reportedly broke down when the moms talked about her jail time and sentence during the latest episode.
"We're not quite sure what the future of ALDC holds for anyone," said Nia Frazier's mom, Holly.
ALDC may even go through extreme changes, as Radar Online notes that choreographer Debbie Allen will be taking over the studio once Miller receives her prison sentence. This means that Allen may be the one hosting "Dance Moms" Season 7.
However, "Dance Moms" Season 7 is also resting on troubled waters if Allen takes over the ALDC. The publication notes that just like Miller, Allen is also facing some serious financial and tax issues.
