Dwyane Wade a star player of the previous team Miami Heat played first time on the home court where he used to play for Miami Heat with crowds revering him thousands of time ago. On Thursday, he is playing with Miami Heat as the opponent while crowds that revered him are watching.
Wade described his weird feeling that he did not know where to go while playing. Once he got inside the court, all the previous emotions and excitement came back to Wade just like he was still playing for Miami. Dwyane does not want to call it as weird but he calls it "little different" as posted during the interview by AP. Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra admitted that he got emotional only for this kind of things.
Wade was still welcomed with warm hugs and applause when he went inside the arena, the crowd gave him more cheers as he went out for warmups. Finally, he got introduced and the crowds stood in ovation as some of his Miami moments were played on a video.
Of course, Wade got booed by the crowd when he made two late free throws to secure the win for his team. Wade told AP that it was the weirdest game ever and that he is glad that it is over and they got a win. The Bulls won against the Heat 98-95.
After the buzzer, it was all back to love. Wade went to his former teammates exchanged hugs and did not fail to greet Micky Arison (Heat's managing general partner) and Andy Elisburg (Heat's general manager). He then saluted the fans that stayed just to watch him leave the floor.
Heat president Pat Riley confirms that he is working on having Wade back to the team. Wade said that he received an email yet he does not have time to read his email.
