‘Love and Hip Hop’ Canceled: Axing Of Old Members And Souja Boy's Departure Sealed The Show's Fate?

Seems like the VH1 series "Love and Hip Hop" would soon be experiencing another cast chopping. "Snitches" spread rumors around the internet regarding the possible departure of some of its old and new cast members in the upcoming season.

"Love and Hip Hop" has already been facing controversies in the previous months since the disappearance of its old members Omarion, April Jones, who left the show only with fuzzy justifications. The recent withdrawal of Soulja Boy claiming that his "brand is too big for the show now," IB Times reported.

According to a report from Bet, the American cable television network, VH1, is yet to confirm gossips which carry speculations about the producers of "Love and Hip Hop" who felt there were too many cast members on the show. This might involve the letting go of old cast members; Lil Fizz, Shanda and Willie Taylor, Teairra Mari, Soulja Boy, Hazel E and even Season 3 newcomer Safaree Samuels.

The concern further pulls hullabaloos regarding the financing of the series with an information from Morning Ledger stating that producers might soon pull the plug following the latest season. This was after an instagram posted by its very own actress, Moniece Slaugther saying "the job ain't paying us...."

"It's made me SEVERELY unhappy and have decided to stop making time for it" she added. The actress has never been shy in voicing out her frustrations in the social media though she had to finish "Love and Hip Hop" season 3 due to her contract

Nonetheless, all these claims may be another bunch of hearsays that still need official validation from the network itself as it might course similarly to the firing controversies that were just dismissed by a simple laugh from its cast member Mimi Faust. As a matter of fact, none of these possibilities is new to "Love and Hip Hop".

How will the axing of cast in "Love and Hip Hop" affect the series? Will it eventually lead to its cancelation? Share your Thoughts below.
