A new case involving a demon will put Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith) in the path of her two sons, Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki), again. This week's episode of "Supernatural" Season 12 will also showcase Mary meeting one of the Winchester brothers' friends.
Episode six of "Supernatural" Season 12 titled "Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox" features supernatural hunters gathering together "to celebrate the life and tragic death of one of their own," SpoilerTV reported. Things, however, start to go south as "a demon starts picking off hunters one by one" while they're trapped in a locked house and it's up to Dean, Sam, and Mary to help stop the killings.
A promotional photo for the upcoming episode of "Supernatural" Season 12 features Mary (who's now sporting a new haircut) meeting Sheriff Jody Mills (Kim Rhodes). The two women's meeting is going to be interesting, given that Jody kind of became the mother figure in Dean and Sam's life.
Jody can tell Mary some of the things that the boys have been through, according to International Business Times. It remains to be seen, however, if the two women would get along or not.
"Supernatural" Season 12 episode 6 will also feature the return of the Grim Reaper Billie (Lisa Berry). In the promo, she tells Dean the rules of the house they were trapped in and one of those is that it's a one-way ticket, which means that every single person dies eventually.
Dean, as expected, fights his way out of an impending death. Watch the promo for "Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox" below. The episode airs on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 9:00-10:00 PM ET on The CW.
Mary's return in episode six of "Supernatural" Season 12 is bound to be a joyous event for Dean and Sam, especially the former. Mary chose to temporarily part ways with her sons in episode three to mourn the family she used to have, with John (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Dean and Sam as kids. Sam understood Mary's decision but Dean is having a hard time accepting the fact that they won't be with their mom day in, day out.
