A mother from Fort Bend County in Texas is being investigated by the authorities after she evicted her 8-year-old son from their house. She was apparently upset to learn that her son picked Donald Trump in a mock election held at school. The video of her son's eviction has gone viral on social media.
Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls confirmed on his Twitter post that they are aware of the eviction video of the 8-year-old boy. It showed the mother accosting her son to get out of their house while ordering him to get his suitcase.
According to ABC 13, the video also showed the boy screaming and bawling as he is being kicked out of his house. He is also is holding up a sign that his mother made. It had the words, "My mom kicked me out the house because I voted for Donald Trump."
Neighbors apparently witnessed what the mother did to her son. At which point, representatives of Child Protective Services (CPS) had intervened and talked to the mother. The boy is apparently already in safe custody following the incident but the video of his eviction has gone viral.
Click 2 Houston reports that the mother herself posted the video on her on social media profile. It has reached over 200,000 shares and viewed over 10 million times as of Sunday, Nov. 13.
According to Smoking Gun, the mother deleted the post after a public outrage. The site also identified the mother as Ashley Tchenavia Stallworth.
Meanwhile, authorities are still not done with the investigation to the mother's act towards her and 8-year-old boy. She apparently told the police that she was only joking and pranking about kicking out her son from their house.
