According to E! Online, in an interview with Vanity Fair, Adele let her guard down as she opens up about motherhood, relationships and the ever controversial battle with depression. She even said that she has a very dark side.
To continue, Adele said that she is very much available for depression as she can get into it easily and get out of it as easily as well. Adele said that the depression began when her grandfather passed away when she was ten. After the death, she has gone through several therapy sessions.
The struggle for Adele even became more real when she gave birth to her son, Angelo but not after she snapped out of her post-partum depression. She said her idea of post-natal depression is a mother doesn't want to be with the child because he may get hurt. Worrying about being a bad mother is also part of the whole thought process.
Adele said she is obsessed with her child. However, at that time she felt inadequate and even thought she made the worst decision of her life. Adele said that the post-natal depression comes in many forms. It's a constant struggle trying to make up for many things as a mom.
Adele also mentioned that she loved the feeling of being drunk but as the more she got famous, she started to worry about things she said and did the night before. This then made her more careful about what she does especially when out in public.
As added by Hollywood Life, Adele said after talking to pregnant women to deal with her depression as advised by Simon Konecki, she felt frightened. Eventually, she said she is going to give herself an afternoon a week just to have time with her baby.
