‘Dishonored 2’ News, Updates and Strategies: Are You Ready To Play The Game?

Gamers are thrilled with the release of the "Dishonored 2", the sequel to the original "Dishonored" game from 2012. "Dishonored 2" is developed by the Arkane Studios and is being published under the banner of Bethesda Softworks.

Forbes lists the things every player should know before engaging in the "Dishonored 2" battle.

First, comes the decision to choose between Corvo and Emily. Arkane's marketing line which says you can play as Corvo or Emily has misled many players. In the actual game, you have to choose once character and that choice is permanent.

Next, old and new players must pay attention to how mana works in this game. Skills drain mana but mana eventually regenerates. Here comes the tricky part, if you cast another spell without waiting for the refresh of the mana you previously exhausted, you can no longer regain the latter.

Now here's an interesting choice. Emily is capable of doing a spell that can link up to four enemies. Therefore, what you do to one, you do to all four of them. Corvo, on the other hand, holds the Slow Time spell which can freeze every single thing in a certain level.

If you'll ever get lost in "Dishonored 2", always look up. From open ceilings to balconies to street lights, the best way to get to your destination is up. And always stop to "shop" at the Rune Shine where great finds are buried if you look close enough.

The game's autosave as often as needed so make pressing R2 and L2 a habit. Check our black market blueprints for upgrades more often too. Take time to snoop around letters, books and audiographs.

Finally, always be open to changing your game style. Gamespot says players can grab a copy of "Dishonored 2" at $60. Now you're ready. Wanna play?
