The popular music festival in Chicago had hundreds thousands of people in the crowd, and some seem to have obeyed the rapper that alarmed the security personnel of the event.

The Texas-based rapper, whose real name is Jacques Webster, added drama to the event, according to E! News. In a statement issued to E! News, Chicago's Office of Emergency Management said, "the performer played one song and then began telling fans to come over the barricades.

The statement added, "Due to the security's quick response, the situation was remedied immediately and no fans were injured."

Scott was supposed to perform for about 45 minutes at the music festival, but his part had to be cut down because of the incident.

Hollywood Life reported that it is not the first time the rapper found himself in hot water. Two years ago, he posted on his Twitter account, that he was arrested and claimed to have spent a day inside the prison cell. But there were no specific details regarding that arrest. Scott did not also comment any further when asked about the incident leaving the public doubtful if the item was true.

Many of the fans posted videos and photos of the rapper while performing, which quickly gained attention online because of the music festival's popularity.
