"Thor Ragnarok" could be one of the most important movies in the MCU phase 3. Previous reports have confirmed that the upcoming movie will be a cosmic adventure with Thor and the Hulk, but what others fail to realize is that the third installment could eventually pave the way for the Infinity War.
As Slash Film recently reported, Cate Blanchett's Hela in "Thor Ragnarok" could actually stand in for the comic book character Death. In the comic book realm, Death was responsible for Thanos' hunger for power, destruction and chaos which ultimately led to the Infinity War.
While this new "Thor Ragnarok" theory remains to be pure speculation as of writing, Marvel President Kevin Feige claimed that anything is possible. He further added that knowledge of the events in the comic books can either be helpful or misleading so fans just need to watch and see, Vulture reported.
Meanwhile, "Thor Ragnarok" has officially finished filming. With the initial work done, fans can eventually get more details about the new movie as its release date draws near.
The official plot of "Thor 3 Ragnarok" still remains to be a mystery as of writing. But, fans are already certain that the upcoming movie will introduce a slew of new characters in the movie including Cate Blanchett as Hela, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, Karl Urban as Skurge and Sam Neill playing a still unnamed character.
"Thor Ragnarok" is slated for a November 3, 2017 premiere. Stay tuned for more "Thor Ragnarok" updates and spoilers here!
