"Prison Break" Season 5 will hit TV screens once again and fans have been excited from the time the show has been confirmed to return. Recent speculations suggest that Robert Knepper will reprise his role as T-Bag but he will not be the same person that fans knew from the previous seasons.
A new photo teased on "Prison Break's" official Twitter account revealed actor Knepper on an operating table. Fans were quick to suggest that T-Bag might be getting a new hand on "Prison Break" Season 5. It can be recalled that T-Bag was badly hurt and left for dead with his hand cut off by John Abruzzi (Peter Stormare) in the first season of "Prison Break."
He survived the attack and asked a veterinary surgeon to reattach his hands and killed the doctor afterward. However, T-Bag had to cut his hand again to free from handcuffs as he planned his escape on "Prison Break" Season 2. And in the upcoming fifth season, it seems that T-Bag will attempt to have his hand reattached by surgeons.
T-Bag is known to be one of the most villainous characters of "Prison Break." But "Prison Break" Season 5 is speculated to give the actor a fresh look and role. As the trailer revealed, T-Bag talked to Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and he will be helping Lincoln save Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) from prison in Yemen.
In an interview with Knepper, he said that he already asked "Prison Break" series creator Paul Schering to give him a fresh role. "I said to [series creator] Paul Schering, 'Please, can we keep it fresh? Can we do something different than what we did before?" Knepper said as per a report from Digital Spy. "I came up with a lot of ideas, that Paul and I talked about, and I think he utilized them a lot," the "Prison Break" actor continued.
"Prison Break" Season 5 is slated to premiere in Spring 2017. There are no reports that confirm the official air date yet. In the meantime, tell us what you think of "Prison Break" Season 5 in our comments section after watching the trailer below.
