‘19 Kids And Counting’ News: Jim Bob And Michelle Duggar Slam Divorce Rumors

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, parents of the "19 Kids and Counting" family, are being hounded by divorce rumors amid their family's much-publicized problems. However, the Duggar patriarch and matriarch recently shut down these divorce rumors via Twitter.

On the official Twitter account of the Duggar Family, Jim Bob stated that people should not believe everything that they read. Michelle and Jim Bob posted a photo of them kissing to prove that their 32-year marriage is not heading for divorce, on a post dated Nov. 13.

They even included a magazine with their divorce in the headline. The said divorce of Michelle and Jim Bob was said to be brought about by financial problems due to to the cancellation of their TLC show. Aside from money woes, the "19 Kids and Counting" couple are also rumored to be having a difficult time moving on from their eldest son Josh Duggar's scandal.

It can be recalled that the "19 Kids and Counting" parents broke their silence after Josh publicly admitted cheating on his wife and molestation charges. With this, TLC decided to cancel their family-oriented reality show, the Daily Mail reported. A few months later, a spin-off entitled "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" was created also by TLC, starring Jim Bob and Michelle's other children.

Currently, "Counting On" is reported to have low ratings that TLC is reportedly planning not to renew the show. Though the network hasn't spoken about the issue, these rumors can easily be dismissed as Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo's wedding held the top spot with 4.4. million viewers for its time slot. Deadline reports that it was the most viewed telecast TLC had in four years.

Aside from the Tweet, Jim Bob, and Michelle Duggar were also happily present during Jinger's wedding. The "19 Kids and Counting" parents even made a heartfelt congratulatory video for the newlyweds.
