Avid fans of "Watch Dogs" were disappointed with the issues found on the multi-player system of "Watch Dogs 2," just right after its release. Fortunately, reports say Ubisoft was quick to come up with a solution and is expected to release a new patch to fix the issues. How soon will the gamers of "Watch Dogs 2" wait for the said patch?
The "Watch Dogs 2" was released on Nov. 15, and its followers were excited to play with its latest feature, the seamless multi-player system. This feature of the second sequel of "Watch Dogs" allows gamers to join in another player's game, to help or hack in the game. Unfortunately, an issue on its multi-player system was encountered during the pre-launch phase and gamers began airing their complaints.
Fortunately, the game developer was then quick to disable the seamless multi-player feature of "Watch Dogs 2" to avoid further issues and to eliminate the periodic crashing and lagging caused by the multi-player issue. If Ubisoft did not immediately disable this feature, the game will be completely unplayable.
The "Watch Dogs 2" was released with a disabled multi-player system. For the time being, gamers can play the full single-player mode without any issues, and will just have to wait for the new patch to be released to enable the multi-player feature again.
Ubisoft has released a statement explaining the issues and the solution they have come up to fix the problem. According to the "Watch Dogs 2" developer, the seamless multiplayer feature will be launched as soon as the new patch has been deployed in all platforms. Ubisoft further mentioned that they have already finished the new patch and have forwarded to Sony and Xbox for proper certifications, Gamerant reported. Unfortunately, the certification takes time and Ubisoft has not released an official statement on the potential release date of the new patch for "Watch Dogs 2."
Meanwhile, aside from the issue on the seamless multi-player feature, another issue was aired regarding the Private Eye pack. "Watch Dogs 2" gamers have complained that the Private Eye pack has been missing, where it was promised to be launched alongside the new sequel. Ubisoft has not given any comment on this so gamers will need to have more patience until the developer gives an update, Windowsreport noted.
