British actor Hugh Grant becomes a father for the second time.
The 52-year-old announced welcoming his second child, a baby boy with Chinese actress Tinglan Hong, on Twitter.
"In answer to some journos. Am thrilled my daughter now has a brother. Adore them both to an uncool degree. They have a fab mum," he wrote, later adding that, "And to be crystal clear. I am the Daddy."
Congratulatory messages from fans and followers have been pouring into the new dad's Twitter account since then.
"Congratulations on the birth of your son. Hope mum and baby are doing fine," one of the followers wrote.
According to the actor's Facebook fan page, the newborn, named Felix Chang Hong Grant, was born at St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, West London, where Kate Middleton is planning to give birth. The announcement also explained the meaning of the young boy's name: "Felix is the Latin word for lucky and Chang in Chinese means long-lasting," the statement read.
The new arrival will join the couple's elder daughter Tabitha, who was born in 2011.
"Lots of people warned me that the baby period is not that exciting," Daily Mail quoted Grant telling the Guardian in March 2012, after becoming a first-time father. "But I am excited, actually. I thought, well, I'll bluff through - but very little bluffing has been required."
The actor, who mentioned his relationship with Hong as a "fleeting affair,"revealed falling in love with his little one.
"I like my daughter very much. Fantastic," he told the Guardian, according to Daily Mail. "I'm absolutely thrilled to have had her, I really am. And I feel a better person."
