With Joy-Anna Duggar's announcement of a courtship with long-time friend Austin Forsyth and Jinger Duggar married to Jeremy Vuolo, the attention goes back to the eldest Duggar daughter, Jana. Is Jana under pressure to date soon?
People have started to worry about Jana Duggar, 26, being the remaining single female in the Duggar family of the now debunked reality show "19 Kids and Counting." Her sisters Jill and Jessa have long been married and now have little kids, while Jinger just got hitched. Now Joy-Anna is also dating, and it wouldn't be long before she also walks down the aisle.
So why is Jana Duggar being left behind? Some speculations suggest that her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, are keeping her "locked up." She is reportedly their huge asset in taking care of her younger siblings, many of whom are not independent yet to be left alone.
Meanwhile, it looks like Jana Duggar is just taking her time and is no way in a rush to get married. In one of the episodes of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," the "19 Kids and Counting" spin-off, Jana was asked how she sees herself five years from now.
"I don't know what the next five years will look like. In some ways you've got hopes and dreams. Maybe I'll meet the one and get married and have kids and stuff," was Jana's answer. The reality star also added that she has not found the right one, even though she had a couple of suitors. "There have been different guys come along and ask, but they haven't been the right one. It's just one of those things. I'm not just out to get married to the first one who comes along."
Who knows, she might meet the guy of her dreams before the next season of "Counting On" ends next year? The Duggar family's spin-off show "Counting On" will be returning in 2017 to feature Jinger's married life, Jessa's new baby, and Joy-Anna courtship.
