After her divorce with Brad Pitt in September, Angelina Jolie returns to the public eye for the first time. In a recorded video, the actress sent a message to the International Criminal Court this week to support a recent policy regarding children.
Twitter users captured a clip of the video and posted it on the social media site, highlighting the 41-year-old actress looking perfectly poised and beautiful as usual during her video message. Angelina Jolie was wearing simple makeup, a black blazer with her hair straight on the side of her face.
"Successful prosecution and new legal benchmark, whether at the ICC or elsewhere, is a part of the long and vital generational effort," she said in the video. "That is the light in which I believe the court's new policy on children should be seen." In a tweet, the ICC acknowledged Angelina Jolie's support video message. "#AngelinaJolie welcomes #OTP policy: Mankind owes to #children," the ICC posted. "We know we aren't giving the best to children. #ICCProsecutor4Children #ICC."
After the Department of Child and Family Services cleared Brad Pitt of the alleged child abuse, it appears that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are back in business. The Oscar winner actress maintains a low profile while they handle their divorce and custody agreement of their six kids. According to Fox News, Jolie's representative said the actress was relieved after learning that the investigation had ended, and health of the family has always been her priority.
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt has been seen several times in public. Last week, Brad Pitt was photographed the first time since his divorce with Angelina Jolie. He was with Julia Roberts attending a private screening of "Moonlight" in which Brad Pitt's company is an executive producer. Last Wednesday, he attended the red carpet for an event for his upcoming film, "Allied". He also participated in a Q&A portion and updated the fans of his well-being.
