Parents Banned From Naming Their Baby After A Terrorist

The world belongs to people with some strange mentalities. A weird incident took place in the recent past. Naming a new born baby is something very exciting for parents.

According to Chron, couple was under fire for naming their baby after a terrorist who, in 2012 tried to kill children in France. The name of the terrorist is Muhammad Merah and a couple in France tried naming their child after him. This seems quite interesting and the incident got a lot of hype all around the country for a while.

The couple was banned by the authorities for this act of naming their child after a terrorist. It is still unknown whether it was an intentional act or not. The point to ponder upon is that the kid has been saved by the authorities from life-time embarrassment. It may be the case that the couple was unaware of the terrorist's name because why would they intentionally want to name their child after a terrorist?

As The Mirror also reports that it is a prior right of parents to name their child and it is solely their choice whatever they want to name their baby. Nobody can interfare in the matter. However, given the current situation the authorities apparently have the jurisdiction over this particular matter and can intervene if they feel that the name can be a cause of life-time embarassment or might have a future affect on the kid's personality.

As soon as the name got registered, the authorities took no time in banning the parents. Good or bad, the authorities did save the newborn from being mocked his entire life. He might be thankful towards the authorities if he comes across this reality when he grows up. Incidents like these are quite rare but they do take place in this world. The parents are now under fire for this act. Muhammad Merah was not a lucky name for them.
