"Wedding Crashers 2" seems to be happening, as Isla Fisher believes it will and the 2005 comedy is in the works. Isla Fisher played Gloria in the hit 2005 comedy movie, "Wedding Crashers" featuring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson.
Isla Fisher revealed her conversation with Vince Vaughn and mentioned she bumped into him at a party and suddenly they're going to make a sequel. Fisher also expressed excitement towards "Wedding Crashers 2" and the following event of Gloria's life, according to Cinemablend.
"Wedding Crashers 2" might be happening but Isla Fisher also mentioned she's not yet sure if it's a done deal already. Fisher added she shouldn't have announced it on morning television, however, there has been a fun talk about it.
In 2014, the director of "Wedding Crashers" David Dobkin mentioned he came up with a great sequel, however, it didn't go further. Dobbin mentioned he wants Daniel Craig in the film to be an ultimate wedding crasher. The two main wedding crashers, Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, shall be threatened by his character of having another one in the mix of what they do.
"Wedding Crashers" aired in 2005, grossing over $200 million in the United States and around $75 million overseas, according to Digital Spy. The decade-old film featured Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson (who played as Jeremy Grey and John Beckwith) who are divorce mediators and crashes weddings to meet and hook up with women.
The duo partied hard during weddings in the film and came up with techniques on how to get women to hook up with them. Their adult life revolved around crashing weddings to meet and sleep with different women until they met the US Secretary of the Treasury's daughters, Gloria and Claire Cleary (played by Isla Fisher and Rachel McAdams) and fell in love. In the end, Gloria and Claire found out about the piled up lies of John and Jeremy about their real identities and what they really do whenever they crash weddings.
