'19 Kids And Counting': Austin Forsyth's Family Knows Little On Josh Duggar Scandal; Joy-Anna A Victim Too?

Speculations over the Josh Duggar scandal that led to the cancellation of "19 Kids and Counting" has been revived with Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth's recent courtship confirmation. Despite their 15 years of friendship, Austin's family reveals their very little knowledge about the Duggars and the scandals of the past.

Joy-Anna's announcement of courtship with long-term friend Austin was featured in a recent Parent Herald article. The announcement was made shortly after her sister Jinger Duggar tied the knot with boyfriend Jeremy. The wedding was featured in the episode entitled "Jinger's Wedding" of the hit show "Jill and Jessica: Counting On."

A few days after the announcement was made, Austin's great grandmother Dorette expressed how proud she is about her grandson and his wonderful life milestone. Joy-Anna's future grandmother was asked next about her thoughts on the infamous Josh Duggar Scandal. Her answer was quite a surprise.

The Hollywood Gossip claimed Austin's grandmother said she does not know anything about Josh Duggar and the scandals that he and his family suffered in the past. Mrs. Dorette's husband and Joy-Anna's future grandfather is also on the blind side. In fact, the old guy hasn't had the chance to meet Joy-Anna in person yet.

The oblivion of Austin's grandparents towards Joy-Anna's family history surprised everyone. It was a given assumption that with their solid 15 years of friendship, Austin and Joy-Anna, including their families, already knew each other very well.

Meanwhile, nothing has been confirmed yet as to how much Austin knows about the Josh Duggar controversy. Despite everything, Joy-Anna's new boyfriend seems to be fine with the Duggar family.

With the recent major events in Joy-Anna's life, old speculations pointing her as one of the six victims that were molested by Josh Duggar resurfaced. It can be recalled that Joy-Anna's sisters Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald admitted to be part of Josh's victims.

It seems like the issue of the past will haunt them for a while and the Duggars would have to live with them. Share your thoughts on the Duggars below.
