American Constitution: What It Says About Donald Trump's Children And Political Power

The American Constitution is concrete, however, it is not meticulous. The founding fathers made the Constitution as such that it was meant to endure for ages and a lot of thought was put when it was created.

American people consider their Constitution a sacred transcript and respect it with all their heart. Recently President-elect Donald Trump is plagued with speculations for determining the presidential children's official roles.

Time published a report on some of the potential conflicts that may arise when Donald Trump assumes the POTUS (President of the United States) post in January. The report highlighted what the Constitution says about the presidential children's power and status.

The founding fathers wanted a different type of government and had enough of the English monarchy, which is why they were clear that they do not want the president's children to be involved in the governmental affairs. Section I of the Article II of the American Constitution restricts any person under 35 to run for president.

The reason behind is to avoid political dynasties and a person who is under 35 may not have kids old enough to conspire and replace their fathers. Instead, they would have to get old enough to assess their own ways in case they had any political intentions.

According to Voice of America, Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner will be playing an important role in the White House. Although it is still unclear what role will Kushner play or if it will be official or not.

It is worth noting that Trump's son-in-law led a successful campaign. Trump's three children Donald Jr, Eric and Ivanka, on the other hand, will resume running the umbrella company Trump organization with the help of some executives once their father enters the White House.

Unfortunately, discussions are still in the air as appointing Jared Kushner in the administration might create a dispute with the anti-nepotism law, which bans any relative to supervise or assume work in the same department. The transition team has stated that they would like to have Jared in the administration.
