‘Fallout 4’ News & Updates: Bethesda Softworks Releases VR Game Version According to Producer Todd Howard, Available in Oculus Rift, HTC Vive

Bethesda Softworks recently announced their most ambitious project to date: "Fallout 4" VR game. The post-apocalyptic RPG will be housed by Oculus Rift and HTC Vive according to reports.

During an interview with Glixel, Bethesda Softworks Director and Executive Producer Todd Howard mentioned about the implementation of "Fallout 4" and "The Elder Scrolls" in VR. "We definitely are," said Howard in a recent post by Gamerant.

Meanwhile, Shacknews reported that the VR marketplace is a bit of concern especially for Bethesda's "Fallout 4" VR game, because most video games are bite-sized experiences. Bethesda Softworks and the studio might want to consider bigger by making a product more in their wheelhouse.

However, MyGaming noted that the developer Bethesda Softworks is more focused on creating something out of the ordinary, unique, and they are not worried about a small VR market, as "Fallout 4" has made itself known upon release. "We're not so worried about how many we're going to sell or what the market is. That will all sort itself out," said Bethesda Softworks producer Howard.

Well, the open world role-playing video game "Fallout" franchise has been a massive success. So it is no surprise that Bethesda Softworks is out to make a statement by releasing a "Fallout 4" VR game. Reports have it that the "Fallout 4" VR game will be released on the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

But no further details have yet been revealed by Bethesda Softworks and the studio. What is relatively known so far is that the "Fallout 4" VR game is under development.

Bethesda also mentioned that their latest project "Fallout 4" VR game would be out by mid-2017.
