"Kingdom" star Kiele Sanchez is excited for her first pregnancy with husband Zach Gilford. The "Friday Night Lights" actor has been keeping the news down, but his excited wife just can't.
Daily Mail reports that the half-Puerto Rican actress opted to announce her pregnancy by showing her baby bump during "Kingdom's" Television Critics Association panel.
"There's so much testosterone [on set] I just got pregnant!" the 37-year-old expectant mom joked to reporters.
The Television Critics Association even posted a tweet of her reveal.
"I couldn't be more excited about my pregnancy!" Sanchez said.
Having her pregnancy at six months, the actress and her husband, Gilford, are expecting to have their baby in November.
In a report from Us Weekly, Sanchez expressed her pregnancy in relation to her role in "Kingdom." She said, "I am playing a woman who is pretty detached from the thing that's growing inside her, and I couldn't be more excited about my pregnancy. So when I slip into Lisa, I'm at odds with this thing down here. It's something that I think that she at certain points really questions her decision to keep it, which couldn't be further from my own life."
"So it's a weird, strange, strange thing, especially when he kicks during a scene, you have to go on as if this thing didn't just move inside your body. So it's bizarre," she adds.
Sanchez, who fans may recognize as having played a role on "The Glades" and also as Nikki Fernandez on "Lost", is formerly married to writer and director Zach Helm until they divorced in 2008. She then married 33-year-old Gilford in 2012 after more than two years of dating.
Having played the role of a married man with a honeymoon in "Devil's Due," OK! Magazine asked Gilford how was the "real honeymoon" that he had with Sanchez. "The real honeymoon was amazing. We had fun," Gilford said.
He adds, "We went to Tokyo, Kyoto, Hong Kong and we spent a bunch of time in Bali and traveled to a bunch of different regions in Bali."
The couple is reported to have a baby boy this coming November, which is great timing as the next season of the mixed-martial-arts series, "Kingdom," airs in October on DIRECTV, according to Us Weekly.
