‘Avatar’ Theme for Walt Disney Parks News Updates: Check Out How ‘Pandora – The World of Avatar’ Will Entice You! [VIDEO]

"Avatar" fans may not see yet the upcoming sequel of the highly anticipated movie from James Cameron, but Disney has prepared something great to satisfy their cravings sooner than the release of the movie in 2018. Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, together with Alpha Centauri Expeditions (A.C.E.) has just introduced its newest "Avatar"-inspired theme park called "Pandora - The World of Avatar."

In a special event called D23's Destination D: Amazing Adventures, the special trailer was introduced to launch the newest "Avatar"-inspired theme park at Disney's Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Apparently, the D23's Destination D event is a convention where only members of the official Disney fans club have access to witness the panels and presentations regarding the upcoming plans for the theme park.

During the panel, the A.C.E. founder Marshall Lamm was present, along with renowned filmmaker James Cameron and Imagineer Joe Rohde. The panelists discussed some details of "Pandora - The World of Avatar," which is set from a destination of about 4.4 light years away from the planet Earth. Towards the end of the presentation of Marshall Lamm, the founder surprised the audience with an incredible video, enticing the Disney fans to check out the "Pandora - The World of Avatar." Fortunately for those who missed the event, Disney Parks Blog posted a copy of the launch video which you can check out below.

In the said event, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek also shared some teaser photos for "Pandora - The World of Avatar," providing some snippets on the intricate and colorful designs inside the "Avatar"-inspired theme park. The images teased that the guests can experience how it feels when inside the "Pandora." There are various "Pandora" destinations that guests can enter into.

"Pandora - The World of Avatar" will feature a restaurant called "Satu'li Canteen." This will be the main restaurant in the park which will feature Na'vi art and cultural items.

Another destination for the guests of "Pandora - The World of Avatar" is the "Windtraders." Travelers can also check this "Windtraders" where Na'vi cultural items, science kits, toys, and other stuff can be found.

Furthermore, guests of "Pandora - The World of Avatar" might get exhausted when they tour the huge park. Another destination they can check out is the "Pongu Pongu," a special drink location which looks as electric as the Expat owner.

"Pandora - The World of Avatar" will open on summer of 2017 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
