While promoting her new book "The Princess Diarist" on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," "Star Wars" actress Carrie Fisher revealed her three month long intense affair with Harrison Ford during the filming of Star Wars in 1976. At the time, Carrie was only 19 and is playing the role of Princess Leia and her then married co-star Harrison, plays her on-screen lover Han Solo was 33.
The 60-year-old actress was surprised by the reactions after she revealed her "three month one night stand" with Harrison. "I don't think it is that surprising" she said in an interview. "I wasn't raised that way but when you're on location everything is permitted." Carrie shared that it all started when Harrison offered her a ride while she was tipsy and she was surprised. "How could you ask such a shining specimen of a man to be satisfied with the likes of me? ... I was so inexperienced, but I trusted something about him. He was kind." she wrote in the excerpt of the book.
After 40 years, she recently discovered her long forgotten journals she kept during the filming of the first "Star Wars," Carrie informed Harrison of her plan to publish it, knowing Harrison is incredibly private, and he just said "Lawyer," hopefully he was just joking. Carrie's first autobiography is about her drinking and drug battle titled "Wishful Drinking," while her new book "The Princess Diarist" is described as "intimate, hilarious, and revealing recollection of what happened behind the scenes on one of the most famous film sets of all time, the first Star Wars movie." According to Gamespot. The book is not all about steamy sex scene but also contains a number of other revelations relating to "Star Wars."
