Miley Cyrus has once again made headlines after making controversial statements, this time against country-turned-pop-singer Taylor Swift.
As the cover of Marie Claire's September 2015 issue, the 22-year-old singer commented on Swift's new "Bad Blood" video. The "Wrecking Ball" singer didn't quite agree with the vision of the 25-year-old blonde when it comes to seeking revenge.
"I don't get the violence revenge thing. That's supposed to be a good example? And I'm a bad role model because I'm running around with my titties out? I'm not sure how titties are worse than guns."
Apparently, the "Shake It Off" singer has some thoughts of her own when it comes to the 2015 VMA host. According to an source close to the flame of Calvin Harris, Swift reportedly believes that "Saying things like this is so typical of Miley. She is desperate for attention and will do anything to get it. It must kill Miley that Taylor has gotten so much attention for 'Bad Blood'. In Taylor's mind, Miley is just being jealous."
The source continued to share Taylor's sentiments saying, "She wants the spotlight on her and taking shots at Taylor is a good way to do it."
Miley Cyrus Speaks Her Mind
In addition to talking about Swift's video, Cyrus also spoke about Kendrick Lamar and sexism and sexuality. "There is so much sexism, ageism, you name it. Kendrick Lamar sings about LSD and he's cool. I do it and I'm a druggie whore," said the former Disney star.
With all of these issues, she believes in just being herself and being open about who she is: "I don't really stress too much about being out there. There's nothing left to catch me doing. You want to hack my e-mail so you can find my nude pictures? I'll just fucking put them up."
Miley also took time to talk about the Happy Hippie Foundation, which she created, and her idea behind it. She shared, "A lot of us are born into some shit, you know what I mean? Lately, I've been talking a lot about my being gender-fluid and gender-neutral. And some people snarl at that. They want to judge me. People need more conventional role models, I guess. But I just don't care to be that person."
There have bee numerous reports in the past that the song "Bad Blood" is actually about fellow pop superstar Katy Perry. Apparently the two had a falling out when Perry "stole" some of the dancers enlisted to be part of Swift's previous tour which she believes was a form of sabotage.
