According to reports, Chicago Bulls' shooting guard and small forward Jimmy Butler might be wearing a new jersey in the mid-season. Reports are rife that Jimmy Butler will be joining Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for two players.
Reports have it that Chicago Bulls is rebuilding the team and trading the NBA All-Star shooting guard and small forward will give the team a number of assets. Jimmy Butler is a valuable trade piece and putting him on the trade block could bring more than one player to Bulls' roster.
On the other hand, Portland Trail Blazers are reportedly planning to bring an NBA All-Star on their team. Blazers general manager Neil Olshey is a fan of C.J. McCollum. However, to improve the team, he might let go of the shooting guard.
Pairing C.J. McCollum with Portland Trail Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu will make the trade with Chicago Bulls possible. By doing so, Blazers could possibly acquire Jimmy Butler, Inquisitr reported.
If this NBA trade will be pushed, Chicago Bulls and Portland Trail Blazers will be satisfied with the deal. Bulls will go with two assets for rebuilding the team while Blazers will successfully bring in an NBA All-Star on their roster. But is Bulls really trading Jimmy Butler?
Just this week, Jimmy Butler along with New Orleans Pelicans' Anthony Davis today were named NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week for their games on Nov. 14 and Nov. 20. Jimmy Butler led Bulls' victory by averaging 27.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists in the said game, NBA reported.
