The Golden State Warriors had finally avenged one of their most shameful losses, stretching their current winning streak to nine games by putting the Los Angeles Lakers in the bag with a 149-106 victory on Wednesday. Stephen Curry led all scorers with 31 points, while Kevin Durant added 28 points and Klay Thompson 26 points. The Golden State Warriors also set the highest-scoring half for any team in the NBA this season.

Back then, the Golden State Warriors struggled tremendously from three-point range and made only 5 of 32 attempts. But on Wednesday night, after riding an eight-game winning streak since that shameful defeat, the Golden State Warriors made great guns from a long distance and shot their way to a ninth consecutive victory.
According to NBA Sports News, the Golden State Warriors made eight out of their eleven shots, including four from beyond the arc to build a double-digit lead halfway through the opening quarter, and the Golden States Warriors didn't stop it from there. Two of those three-pointers came from Warriors star Stephen Curry, who had added two more to his score and a total of 15 in the first frame.
The Golden State Warriors would go on to lead 41-26 at the end of the first quarter in which they converted 6 three-pointers or shot of 65.2 percent from the field and combined for 13 assists. The only spot on the Golden State Warriors' dominant offensive performance was the way they opened the game at the free-throw line, where the Warriors had only 5 of 11 attempts as a team.
Lakers Nation reported that the Los Angeles Lakers were without two of their best young players on Wednesday night. As Julius Randle missed the game with a hip injury and D'Angelo Russell could not go as he is still dealing with a knee issue. Russell did not also travel with the team as he is supposed to miss the next couple of weeks after receiving a PRP injection in his left knee.
