"America's Next Top Model" is gearing up for its comeback on television next month. Season 23 of "ANTM" will be welcoming its new mentor and show host Rita Ora replacing long-time host Tyra Banks.
We can recall that there were speculations months before about "America's Next Top Model" airing its last season. It was somehow confirmed having season 22 as its finale. Later on, "ANTM" host Tyra Banks clarified and announced that the show had been revived and will be moved to another channel - VH1.
Last July, Rita Ora, the singer-actress-mogul, announced that she will take over Tyra Banks' place in "ANTM". A short clip was released showing a glimpse of the forthcoming season with Rita Ora as the new mentor and host.
In the video, you will see clips of Rita Ora comforting contestants over the course of the season. The British singer Rita shared her goals for "ANTM" along with her fellow panelists. According to her, she may be comforting, cheering, and coaching most of the time yet she also warned "ANTM" contestants to expect some tough love.

As per Rita, she wants to be a host and a judge who is able to do multiple things all at once. To her, it is what her career stands for. According to reports, Rita will be joined by several personalities as judges namely Ashley Graham (model), Law Roach (stylist), and the chief creative officer of Paper Magazine Drew Elliot.
Former host, Tyra Banks extended her support by sharing her enthusiasm about the "ANTM's" revival. She expressed her excitement, having created and incredible, global brand, and have it reborn and revamped.
In her interview with E! News, she revealed that she will still be part of the show but as the executive producer. That is the reason why a new face was introduced to host the show.
Tyra addressed the show's fans saying that their wish has been granted. VH1 answered their call and allowed "ANTM" to be back again.
The new "America's Next Top Model" premieres on Dec. 12, 10/9c in VH1. Mark your calendars!
