According to Channel Pro, the Surface Pro 5 is expected to be released late 2016. That was the rumored release date which surfaced mid of 2016. It is unfortunate that it did not happen. It is almost end of the year and Microsoft is still mum about the release.
The new laptop may come with a brand new 12.3inch PixelSense screen and is available in either 2K or 4K Ultra HD variations. This makes for ultimate viewing experience.
The upcoming Surface Pro 5 may also be packed with power by having 16GB of RAM powered by Kaby Lake processor chips. This guarantees at least 25 percent more performance boost and less battery drain.
The late release of the anticipated gadget is believed to be related to Kaby Lake processor installed in every unit. The Kaby Lake processor will be available either late 2016 or early 2017 so until then, the Surface Pro 5 will not be released.
The new laptop from Microsoft may also feature an AMD or NVIDIA Pascal GPU. It may also have a USB-C support. It will definitely be having Windows 10 as its Operating System with Redstone 2 update. This is also expected to land in March 2017.
it is also expected to arrive with a Surface Pen with wireless charging capability. This will come in handy and useful for users who are into heavy duty graphic-related works.
As added by PC Advisor, the Surface Pro 5 camera may also be revamped and improved. Its features will definitely be better than that of its predecessor. This update not only makes this device a great hybrid laptop.
The Surface Pro 5 may be released in March 2017. It is also possible that it will come out earlier or later but it will be released next year. Though no official word on its release, it is best to stay tuned for updates as Microsoft may come up with one, along with other updates before the year ends or early next year.
