Galaxy Note 7 Battery Supplier, Samsung SDI Faces Difficult Time Regaining Trust Because Of Combustion Issue! [DETAILS HERE]

Galaxy Note 7 battery combustion is still a prevalent issue following the global recall of the device. SDI, the battery supplier of Galaxy Note 7 is struggling to gain customers' trust because of the issue that happened.

According to Reuters, Samsung affiliate, Samsung SDI is trying its best to reassure clients including Apple Inc. that its batteries are safe. Potential new customers though are still shying away from using the services of the company as obviously, they haven't totally moved on from the Galaxy Note 7 battery combustion debacle.

Samsung SDI's TV and smartphone screens and batteries are key elements to the success of the Korean Tech giant. Samsung SDI has plans on venturing into vehicle battery manufacturing, but this too may be put on hold.

This is because the company has not detached itself from the global scandal which happened just one month after the release of Galaxy Note 7. Even at present, banning Galaxy Note 7 on flights all over the world has been approved and required to be mentioned by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Samsung SDI has reassured potential customers that they put utmost priority on battery reliability. This is also a good opportunity for the company to regain the trust and confidence of its clients according to Kim Hong-gyeong, SDI's Chief Financial Officer.

Samsung SDI has around 25 percent market share in small device batteries according to Market Research studies by B3. However, in connection with the Galaxy Note 7 battery combustion issue, it has significantly lost its place in the market.

As added by Tech Wire Asia, from an engineer who worked on the Note 7 battery, Samsung SDI is focused on boosting its battery capacity but the issue has been disadvantageous still. It is quite difficult for people to move on from an issue that is global in scale.

Even with Samsung SDI convincing some of their affiliates that its batteries are safe, many might still time to fully grasp the situation and eventually move on. until then, the company needs to exert more effort to convince more affiliates and potential customers to use its products.
