"Girl Meets World" is already in its third season but reports are rife that this could be the last run for Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter's show on Disney Channel. Season 4 is not yet confirmed and some sources claim that the network is looking for younger talents.
Those following the "Girl Meets World" are hoping for more seasons but the show is not renewed yet. According to Rowan Blanchard, they are also hoping for season 4 because they wish to continue their story. This only confirmed that the series is still not renewed.
Per Rowan Blanchard, the rest of the "Girl Meets World" stars are also waiting for a word from the network with regards to the show's future. One thing is certain, though, there are still more episodes for season 3 in 2017.
Rowan Blanchard even shared a tweet about "Girl Meets World" Season 4 with high hopes that they will be given the chance to continue Riley Matthews and Maya Hart's adventures. The teen star believes that her role in the show represents a number of girls her age.
"It's so hard because, when you're a girl, there are molds you have to fit into in order to be socially acceptable," Blanchard told She Knows. "And even with those molds, people will still find ways to critique you."
The show is a great representation of the new generation. It is informative and at the same time entertaining.
Unfortunately, as mentioned "Girl Meets World" Season 4 is still unconfirmed and some sources claim that Disney Channel is considering a new roster of younger talents for the show. Per Chatt Sports Net, the young stars will be replacing Rowan Blanchard, Sabrina Carpenter and the rest of the gang.
Avid fans are not supportive of this. However, there is nothing one can do as the fate of the show depends on Disney Channel. One thing is certain "Girl Meets World" Season 4 is still waiting for renewal.
