Toddler Takes Months To Recover After Getting Eaten Alive By Herpes Through An Infected Relative

A miraculous event took place in a recent time.Baby girl Sienna's face was found to develop burns and blisters after being kissed by a relative. The relative was herpes positive. The infection spread to the toddler too.

Her family had been looking for the cure for quite a months. The situation did not get better and the burns and the blisters continued to increase ultimately covering the entire face of the baby girl, The Sun says.

Her mother used to wash the bed sheets almost as they always were found to be covered with blood dropping off the toddler's face. The twenty-one-year-old mother always felt gloomy whenever she encountered blood and pus filled blisters on her daughter's beautiful face.It seemed like someone has thrown acid on her face.

The toddler was given many creams and antibiotics to treat the blisters. The burns used to itch a lot and kid would cry too while struggling with the itchiness. The whole recovery journey was not an easy process for her mother too, according to Daily Mail.

She was hospitalized for the first time on her second birthday. She was prescribed every single antibiotic available for the cure. After almost eight months an antibiotic worked finally and blisters were found to lessen a bit. A ray of hope shined on the family of the toddler.

The infection spread from her face to mouth and around her eyes. She developed severe ulcers all around. Her mother always tried to refrain her from scratching her blister but after a lot of tolerance the toddler used to rub her face with soft surfaces.

It took a long time to recover her normal skin as the body was weak and was unable to develop resistance. Now the infection is almost gone and the face of the baby looks beautiful. There still lies a chance that infection might return but now her body is trained to respond to the virus as now it is immune to herpes.
