Happy, Confident Fathers: An Inspiration To The Children? Why A Dad's Love Is Important In Parenting

Dad's love is incomparable. Their unconditional support and love for their children is a huge factor in their upbringing. Children always want to be like their fathers and mothers and feel pride in talking about their qualities.

According to BBC, an Oxford University research has found that a father's confidence can determine the attitude and behavior of the children. The study shows that those fathers who become confident and remain positive after entering the fatherhood experience are less likely to see problematic behaviors in their young children.

The psychological and emotional bonding makes children perform better in their lives. For the research, more than ten thousand children's parents were given questionnaires to fill and the results showed that those fathers, who spent more time and care, have children with lesser behavioral problems.

Father's strong bond with children also means a strong relationship with the mother, which also strengthens the family. The Conversation gives ideas and help to fathers when it comes to parenting. It says that mothers are always predominant in parenting and already assumed to be more influential but the truth is definitely opposite of that.

Fathers can influence their children better but in some cases, fathers need help with parenting too. Some of these fathers have had problems in the past and despite wishing to be with their children, they keep their distance. Experts suggest that fathers should open up, talk with other fathers to seek help.

Try ways to become better. Some fathers have the desire to be with their children, they want to support them but don't find the courage to do so. There is a program for such fathers called as Mellow Dads. It is a service providing groups for fathers who want help in parenting.

The program runs for 14 weeks and one day in each week is spent in a class in which several ways and ideas are advised to Fathers and they share their views and ideas with their colleagues.
