Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn Are 'The Predator' Lead Casts To Meet With The New Cinematographer

"The Predator" is now very close to its February 2017 production date and Shane Black made progress - by adding the new cinematographer to the already known lead casts; Boyd Holbrook and Olivia Munn. Larry Fong is the new cinematographer of the reboot, "Predator."

Holbrook stars in this Twentieth Century Fox's alien action-movie series, "The Predator" that Shane Black directs. Black and Fred Dekker are the co-writers of the sequel. It is a story about the alien hunter fighting in earthly wild domiciles and alien planets. Munn plays a scientist while Holbrook is in the Special Forces commando unit, based on the news by Hollywood Reporter.

Director Zack Snyder speaks highly of Fong. Among their ventures are "300," "Watchmen," "Sucker Punch" and the widely acclaimed "Batman versus Superman: Dawn of Justice." While Snyder is into divisive films that jive in the visually incredible nature of Larry Fong.

Larry Fong directed the pilot of Abrams' TV series "Lost." He was an ASC Award nominee fo that episode."Now You See Me" and just recently "Kong: Skull Island:, which has been praised from the trailers alone. Fong's portfolio is nonetheless a collection of stunning work, and that would be vital to the success of the "The Predator" with him around.

Shane Black's "The Predator" is the slight reboot of the first 1987 "Predator" film that Arnold Schwarzenegger starred. That will be referenced to by the new movie for 30 years continuity but somehow an independent film and rated R.

Shane Black clarified the rumor saying that the filming will not be done in the suburbs. Boyd Holbrook is actually the replacement of Benicio del Toro. "The Predator" as always will be hunting humans. It will be in the theaters on Feb. 9, 2018, according to Cinema Blend.
