‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Star Kylie Jenner in Hot Water Over Cosmetic Line, ‘Kylie’

"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star Kylie Jenner, owner of a successful cosmetics empire, is receiving flak for allegedly copying the designs of a Russian makeup artist and her photographer. The woman is set to file a lawsuit against the Kardashian princess.

According to The Daily Mail, makeup artist Vlada Haggerty claims that "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star Kylie Jenner and her company ripped off designs for the Kylie Cosmetics campaigns from her Instagram account. Haggerty further claims that this is not the first time that "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star Kylie Jenner copied one of her collaborations with photographer Julia Kuzmenko.

The pictures used by Kylie Cosmetics are said to be dead ringers for theirs - from concept to appearance. Worse, there has been an earlier instance when the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star Kylie Jenner and her company directly copied one of their photos and passed it off as theirs, reported Refinery 29. This was almost a year ago, and the company has never given them proper attribution or credited their artwork.

Among the images in question is the Kylie logo itself, which "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star Kylie Jenner is said to have copied from Haggerty. The melting lip colors are displayed prominently in the Kylie lipliner and lip crème line. Haggerty, for her part, claims that she had earlier posted this design/concept on her Instagram account.

More recently, another artwork concept was grabbed from the makeup artist. Vlada Haggerty claims that the gold painted hands contrasting with a bold lip color was her and Julia Kuzmenko's idea. Haggerty added that "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star Kylie Jenner and her company stole this again.

As of press time, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star Kylie Jenner nor any representative from Kylie Cosmetics have issued a reply regarding the matter.
