'Beauty And The Beast' Live-Action Photo: Slick, Smooth Gaston Luke Evans Woos Emma Watson's Belle [PHOTO]

The buzz around "Beauty and the Beast" live-action continues to entice fans. The highly-anticipated movie starring Emma Watson, Dan Stevens and Luke Evans won't be in theaters till March 2017, but fans have already been treated to a lot of teasers and photos of the magical fairy tale.

The most recent "Beauty and the Beast" live-action photo release features Luke Evans in his full costume, hair and makeup as Gaston, and he's seen trying to woo Emma Watson's Belle with flowers. The actor shared the photo on his Twitter and labeled his character as "very smooth."

Fans of the classic Disney animation the live-action is based would be very familiar with this recent photo. It takes place in the opening scene, which describes Belle's town, her neighbors and how she feels she doesn't belong in it.

It also introduces Gaston as the story's sexist villain who thinks he's Belle and every woman's type. It will be interesting to watch how on the nose the live-action will be from its animated inspiration.

Meanwhile, Angela Lansbury, who voiced Mrs. Potts in the 1991 film, spoke out her thoughts regarding the live-action "Beauty and the Beast." According to Playbill, the esteemed actress didn't think at first that there was anything left to be done in the story, but she's still looking forward to the movie.

"I know very well the actress who's playing Mrs. Potts and she's a very good friend of mine -- it's Emma Thompson," she said. The actress also thinks that both live-action and animation have its merits and differences. "We did it as cartoon characters, and that is quite different from live actors," she adds.
