All the eight movies of "Harry Potter" might have been long done, but many Potterheads still love to watch them all over again. However, not everyone has the luxury to spend over 19 hours to do a movie marathon. But now, that is made possible with a reedit of the film titled "Wizardhood."
Enterprising editor Tim Stiefler created a recut of "Harry Potter" movies from "Sorcerer's Stone" to "Deathly Hallows." Now, "Harry Potter" fans could relive the magic of the wizarding world in just over an hour from the original 19 hours and a half that it will take to watch "Harry Potter" 1-7.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, the "Harry Potter" recut film is titled "Wizardhood," which is a nod to "Boyhood" created by Richard Linklater. The feature length film distills over 10 years in the life of Harry Potter (played by Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione Granger (played by Emma Watson), and Ron Weasley (played by Rupert Grint).
"Harry Potter" franchise has been a big hit for kids and kids at heart. It was based on JK Rowling's fantasy novels, with the first book, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" published in 1997. It tells the story of a young boy who finds out he's a wizard destined to beat the dark lord Voldemort. His adventures began at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where he met his two best friends Ron and Hermione.
The film might have concluded with "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," but the magic continued. Its sequel, "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," premiered as a play in London on July 30, and the script was published as an eighth book of the series.
Most recently, a "Harry Potter" prequel hit the theaters. It's called "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," which have been receiving raving reviews from critics all over the world. A sequel to the film is expected to come out also, perhaps next year.
Watch "Wizardhood" below. Enjoy, Potterheads!
