"One Piece" Film Gold English dubbed will hit the theaters in the United States and Canada next year. The film has already gathered about 10.1 million U.S. dollars during the first three days of its airing in China. "One Piece" Film Gold is said to be the highest grossing Japanese film in its first three days in the country.
"One Piece" Film Gold spoilers suggest that Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat pirates are expected to bump into an independent nation where Gild Tesero is the ultimate ruler. Gild apparently owns a bountiful amount of riches and he uses them to pay pirates and bribe governing bodies. That said, the hidden sanctuary is believed to be free from the governance and influence of the Marines and the World Government.
Luffy, however, will find out that Gild is strategizing a plan to change the societal power structure by using his money. The pirates of the Merry Go, of course, will not allow this happen, CGMagOnline reported. So, Luffy and his friends are suggested to take another adventure as they stop Gild's scheme and save the world.
"One Piece" Film Gold was released in China on Nov. 11 while the Japanese launch was on July 23. The Japanese movie's box office earnings in Japan reached a total of 46 million U.S. dollars, AnimeNewsNetwork reported. However, it was not able to surpass the 2012 "One Piece" film which earned about 64.64 million U.S. dollars.
"One Piece" Film Gold English dubbed will air on Jan. 10 to Jan. 17, 2017 in the U.S. and Canada. There are reports that it will also ship to Australian theaters though no release date has been confirmed yet. It is also suggested to be available in 3D, 4DX and MX4D.
