"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is drumming up even more interest. With its release only about two weeks away, more trailers and TV spots are being shown. Viewers are spotting more characters to watch out for in the latest "Star Wars" movie.
"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is set at the start of the rebellion, decades before the arrival of Hans Solo, Princess Leia, and Luke Skywalker. "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is also the first of a new series of "Star Wars" movies that does not focus on the Skywalker family. According to reports, the movie will be bringing back to life a villain older than Darth Vader, another Sith Lord, Grand Moff Tarkin.
Gizmodo reports that viewers have spotted "an Imperial officer looking across a viewport at the construction of the Death Star." The ears, the hair, and the uniform are said to resemble that of Grand Moff Tarkin. Add the heavy breathing of a Sith Lord in the new teaser of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" and you have people reserving their tickets for the December 16 premiere like crazy.
"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" could be using some powerful computer graphics for this since actor Peter Cushing passed away two decades ago. Moff Trakin made brief appearances in "Clone Wars" and "Star Wars Rebels." The character was briefly portrayed by Wayne Pygram in "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith."
Slash Film, on the other hand, revealed more exciting characters to be introduced in the upcoming "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." The movie also builds on the lead character, another woman, Jyn Erso. She and an unlikely band of characters form the beginnings of the great rebellion. "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is directed by Gareth Edwards.
