¨America's Next Top Model¨ is back with new aspiring models, new drama, and a new host! The modeling competition reality show is anticipated to reflect the changes in the modeling industry. Furthermore, the show is also predicted to be more intriguing. Read on for spoilers!
Tyra Banks leaves the show as host this ANTM Cycle 23. She will be replaced by British singer Rita Ora, US Weekly reports. Banks retains her executive producer position. Ora will be joined by plus-sized model Ashley Graham, Paper Magazine chief creative officer Drew Elliott, and celebrity stylist Law Roach.
Banks, who has been the face of the long-running modeling reality series, has pointed out what she is looking for from the new batch of aspiring models. The former supermodel is on the hunt for someone who is both traditional and fresh. According to her, the modeling industry is now changing with its seasonal dynamics, and the 14 contestants must prove themselves flexible and versatile.
For the first time ever, the candidates for the ANTM title are not just from the US. One of them comes all the way from South East Asia. This aspiring model hails from Bali, Indonesia.
Meanwhile, the contestant who will rise above the rest will not only seize the opportunity to be on the covers of magazines and catwalks. VH1 reveals that the lucky lady will also bag $100,000. Not to mention, he or she will be featured in one of the leading British-manufactured cosmetics brands, Rimmel London. The winner will also get an exclusive one-year talent deal with VH1.
