The Dec. 2 opening day sees a good number of horror and thriller movies. The first on the list is Aaron Eckhart's "Incarnate." This film discusses people's obsession with demons and all that is related to it. The movie is reported to be good enough to send chills up their spine as it is another movie which tackles possession and in some forms exorcism in a different twist.
According to Movie Insider, the movie "Incarnate" revolves around Dr. Seth Ember, played by Aaron Eckhart. He is in a wheelchair after meeting a horrific accident. He is incarnate who happens to given with rare ability to get into the minds of possessed people for their demons to be exercised from the inside out.
Dr. Seth Ember of "Incarnate" movie was enlisted by Vatican to exorcise a troubled young boy. Ember got the shock of his life when he discovered that the demon possessing the boy is the one responsible for the death of his wife and child years before.
It is then the responsibility for the doctor to save the boy's life as the Incarnate movie progresses. This is also an important mission for him. His own personal redemption is also at stake as he takes on this challenge.
The Dr. Seth Embler, the main character of "Incarnate" movie is desperately finding ways to destroy the demon. This is so before it kills him and unleashes its wrath and terror upon the world.
As added by Cinema Blend, the movie has a rather disappointing review basing it on the trailer. According to the review, the "Incarnate" movie had all the terrible clichés of any other horror movie. It showed possession while riding up dangerously close to being corny and stupidity as Scary Movie series.
The effects are also a mess. The kid's eyes glow red is the worst possible. The movie also doesn't deliver as much scare. The Incarnate movie altogether looks bad. The "Incarnate" movie's director Brad Peyton has history for not-so-good movies so it is considered that this movie is another addition to it.
