AMD Zen Release Date, Latest News and Update: Reigniting War Against Intel, Better in Terms of Performance and Price?

Many years ago, there was a war between Intel and AMD with regard to performance dominance and there came a time when it seemed that Intel won over AMD. The conflict may be known for those who are fond of overclocking scene or PC gaming for long enough and it may be recalled that AMD ceded the crown to Intel and focused on the price instead.

According to a report in Slash Gear, AMD focused on offering less expensive items than Intel. There are speculations that AMD is currently inciting performance war with Intel through its new Zen processor. It was reported that a preview for the new AMD Zen processor will be held on Dec. 13, 2016 at 1p.m. PST.

There is still no confirmation as to the packing of AMD's Zen until the event. It is also said that AMD is all set on the chip from the time when it offered a preview between its very own 8-core Zen against the Intel Broadwell-E packing eight-cores and it showed how the Zen could match the Intel.

According to News Everyday, AMD Zen will be revealed soon in the upcoming live online event of AMD and anyone could sign up for it. AMD invited the public to watch New Horizon for an exclusive preview of its newest AMD Zen that will be launched in the first quarter of 2017. It is said to be hosted by Geoff Keighley.

It also announced that the event will provide amazing giveaways and there will be appearances from special guests. It was said that it will be the first time for AMD to offer it to the public that they can be able to see the new AMD Zen processor themselves and try it. This event may be something that serious gamers won't ever miss.
