'Teen Mom 2' Star Jenelle Evans Arrested For Assaulting Nathan Griffith’s New GF

"Teen Mom 2" star, Jenelle Evans, is facing more legal troubles after being arrested for allegedly assaulting ex-fiance Nathan Griffith's new girlfriend on Thursday, August 20. The report was confirmed by Horry County Police Department in South Carolina to Us Weekly.

According to the report, the police arrived at Evans' home in Myrtle Beach on Thursday, past 2:00 pm. The victim told the officers that she accompanied her boyfriend, Nathan, to help him pick up some of his stuff that were still in Evans' home, where he used to live. However, the turn of events were unexpected.

"She was assaulted by her boyfriend's ex, who threw a drinking glass at her head, causing injury," the statement revealed. The incident triggered the police to arrest the 23-year-old reality TV star and charged her with third-degree assault.

However, Evans did not take the full responsibility for the mess she did. She believes that aside from her, Nathan was also at fault for provoking the situation, according to Hollywood Life.

"I feel Nathan provoked the situation by bringing his current girlfriend to Jenelle's house," revealed Johnny Donovan, Jenelle's rep. "He shouldn't have brought his new girlfriend with him, he was very clearly trying to stir up trouble."

Her rep explained that Jenelle had been trying to be her best self for her sons, and it was disrespectful for Nathan to show up on her house tagging along his new girlfriend.

"Nathan has no respect for her. You don't bring your new girlfriend to your ex fiancee's new house. He has no respect for her. He just doesn't care."

The report also revealed that the episode of "Teen Mom 2" that aired on August 13 featured Nathan and Jenelle arguing with each other. He was accusing her of infidelity, things get out of hand, and she shoved liquor bottles in front of him telling him to drink up, but he just responded with, "trailer trash who hit the lottery."

Last May, Evans was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly attacking Griffith at his house. She claimed that he tried to run her over with his car. Prior to that, she was also arrested in February for driving without a license.

Evans and Griffith got engaged last January. However, she called off the engagement with Griffith on July. She revealed that Griffith started an argument for not being able to go out and advised her to get a babysitter for their child, Entertainment Tonight reported.

The ex-couple have a son, Kaiser, 13 months. She also has another son Jace, who is currently under her mother's custody. According to the report, Evans is battling with her mom over her son's custody, and this has been documented on "Teen Mom 2."
