The Memorial Day holiday will become more memorable for the fans of Zac Efron and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as the much-awaited movie "Baywatch" has been announced to have been moved to a later release date, in time for the holiday weekend. The Memorial Day gets hotter as "Baywatch" bodies hit the theaters on May 26, 2017.
Paramount studio has just announced that the remake of "Baywatch" will now have a May 26, 2017, release date, instead of the original May 19 premiere. The new release date means that "Baywatch" will now be competing with the other popular upcoming movie "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Life" which features Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds.
The millennials would be looking forward to see this life-guard-themed movie to reminisce the "Baywatch" TV series they have loved since it premiered in 1989. On the other hand, the youngsters will be anxiously awaiting the "Baywatch" movie to see their beloved idol Zac Efron and his impressive built, fit for his role in the franchise.
The upcoming "Baywatch" movie was directed by Seth Gordon. The movie adaptation will feature Zac Efron as the newest lifeguard in the movie. Fans can expect the plot to revolve around how Mitch Buchannon (played by Dwayne Johnson), an expert vet, will handle the arrogant newbie, Matt Brody (played by Zac Efron) alongside the stressful demands of their job as a life saver. Unfortunately, spoilers did not say the details of the chaos that Zac Efron's character will bring to the movie. Fans will have to wait and see as spoilers continue to float for "Baywatch."
The upcoming movie adaptation will also feature Alexandra Daddario (portraying the role of Summer), Jon Bass (playing the roleof Ronnie), Kelly Rohrbach (playing the role of CJ Parker) and Ilfenesh Hadera (playing the role of Stephanie Holden). "Baywatch" gets more interesting with the inclusion of Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra, who is now playing the role of Victoria Leeds, the villain in the upcoming movie. Entertainment Weekly reported.
