Eli Manning is going to be a father for the second time.
The 32-year-old New York Giants quarterback and wife Abby confirmed to the media about their impending parenthood in July.
The proud father, while attending a Samsung event Wednesday shared his happiness with Us Weekly.
"She's due in June," the dad-to-be told Us Weekly. "We're all very excited."
The new arrival will be joining the couple's elder daughter Ava Frances who celebrates her second birthday Thursday, March 21.
"We're doing a party Easter weekend. We have all our family in town and do a little party," Manning told the magazine while revealing his daughter's birthday plans.
Manning, who met Abby McGrew at the University of Mississippi, tied the knot April 19, 2008, at a beachfront ceremony in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. The couple welcomed their first child Ava in March 2011.
The first-time father, who has received recognition as the "Most Valuable Player" twice, was overwhelmed with his fatherhood experiences.
"The greatest thing about being a dad is that you never realize you can love something immediately in your life," Manning said, while sharing his life as a dad with People magazine in June 2012.
No doubt another football player is in the making, as the toddler has already started showing her interest in football, by following in her father's footsteps.
"She's still working on her throwing motion a little bit. She does like playing with footballs, basketballs and baseballs. One of her first words was, 'Balls,'" Manning told People earlier. "And of course I have a lot of footballs around the house so she's often picking them up and throwing them. It's kind of a two-handed toss right now, as expected."
