‘Justice League’ Updates & Spoilers: New Trailer Coming Out Without Henry Cavill?; Movie The Last Sequel From DC?

The new trailer for "Justice League" is speculated to come out early next year. Rumors are predicting the new trailer will most likely be released any time in January 2017 and will allegedly surprise the fans. Apparently, fans of Superman will be shocked to know that the new trailer will not highlight their beloved DC superhero. Also, the movie is predicted to be the last sequel from DC Films.

Rumors claim that the upcoming new trailer will only highlight five superheroes from the Justice League, namely Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck), Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Victor Stone/Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller). Unfortunately, Clark Kent/Superman (Henry Cavill) will not be highlighted when the new trailer of "Justice League" comes out early next year. Other characters that will not be shown are James Gordon (J.K. Simmons), Nuidis Vulko (Willem Dafoe) and Mera (Amber Heard).

Furthermore, fans would most likely see "The Lone Ranger" star Armie Hammer in the highly anticipated "Justice League" movie. Reports say that Hammer is being eyed to play the role of Green Lantern, Yibada reported.

Meanwhile, Forbes believes that "Justice League" would be the last sequel in the DC Films Universe. The iconic characters from the DC Films seem to be the major factor for viewers' consideration, and not much on the long-running story arc. Considering this, foregoing the sequels would be the best option for DC Films franchise.

Based on the analysis done by the publication, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" became a phenomenal hit because viewers desired to see Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman together in the big-screen. In the same way, moviegoers got curious to see Harley Quinn and Deadshot in one film, which resulted in the blockbuster hit of "Suicide Squad."

The publication also noted that the same principle may prevail for the upcoming "Wonder Woman" movie next summer and "Justice League" by the end of next year. Fans will patronize the upcoming DC movies mostly because of its lead characters, and not much on the plot of the movie.

"Justice League" is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 17, 2017. For now, check out below the fan film that "Justice League" director Zack Snyder has created tagged "Dark Side Knight v Super Jedi" mashup video.
