Harold Perrineau Welcomes Third Daughter, Holiday Grace

Harold Perrineau is the proud father of three girls.

The actor welcomed his third child named Holiday Grace Perrineau with wife Brittany, Thursday, March 21. The new addition joins the couple's elder daughters Aurora (18) and Wynter Aria (4).

"Holiday Grace is here, and we couldn't be any happier," Perrineau, while confirming the news, told People magazine. "Our family feels complete. Mommy and baby are doing well and big sisters Aurora and Wynter are [thrilled]."

Later, the new dad took to his Twitter account and shared his happiness and thanked his well-wishers and fans over his daughter's arrival.

"Thanks for all the love. Holiday and mom are healthy, happy and resting. 3 daughters, couldn't be any luckier," he wrote.

Congratulatory messages from fans and well-wishers have been pouring in since then.

"Poor daddy is out numbered by the ladies, lol! Congrats!" one of the comments on Facebook read.

However, the name Holiday Grace drew mixed reactions from across the country.

"strange name but she can be called Holi Grace, which sounds cute," one of the messages said, while another one added, "Pretty name."

Perrineau is widely known for his roles as Augustus Hill in the HBO television series, "Oz" and as Michael Dawson in "ABC's Lost," He also acted in the film adaptation of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet - "Romeo + Juliet."

"Acting was the thing I wanted to do, I just didn't know how to get there,"Perrineau told The Bulletin, while explaining his voyage as an actor. "So I started using that skill (dancing) thinking it would get me into the door to be an actor, but it only got me in to be a dancer. You have to be naïve to believe I can do this and still be an actor. For the first year or so I got in trouble from the head of the dance school because I was always going to auditions ... But I still wanted to be an actor, so I stopped dancing. And I was waiting tables and bartending and went back to acting school. I was 28, but I looked 14. It was a lucky break."
