AMD’s First Step To Revolution Goes Live, Through Radeon ReLive

The new update to AMD's software went live a couple of days through an update for Radeon Software Crimson. AMD's newest addition to the Radeon Software Crimson's interface called ReLive is a motion capture utility that can record 20 minutes of gameplay which can stream directly to Twitch, YouTube, PandaTV, Douyu.TV, Huya.com, and Lingzu.com. ReLive can also capture screenshots and desktop footage.

Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition is created to maximize gaming experience for players, developers, and professionals. Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Editon is a highly optimized screen recording and streaming feature for Direct X12 and h.265. ReLive can be used not only for gaming but also for tech support or enterprise level training. ReLive features constant frame-rate for synchronized audio and video with added custom overlay function.

Launched together with ReLive is the long awaited driver for Radeon Software Crimson graphics card update. The latest update is said to be the biggest software release that AMD has done for GPU's, combining both the professional and consumer drivers under the same tech, "that means whether you're using a normal Radeon GPU on a laptop, or a Radeon Pro user creating 3D models on a desktop, or a server administrator using Radeon VPro virtualisation, all will be served by the same, free driver," according to Ars Technica.

The Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition also includes Radeon Chill which automatically reduces the frame rate of games when there is less activity going on by detecting the movement of the player's mouse. A brand new display connectivity feature which informs the user if there's a non-working HDMI cable plugged into the computer.

AMD free sync with the borderless full-screen mode is also available, and the Radeon Wattman, a power management tool made for the 400 series will now be available to older versions of AMD GPU's. With all of this developments, 2017 is going to be big for AMD.
